Now this is my first blog in a long time and i haven't been playing poker actively in quite a long time. Success of businesses as a result of poker a few years ago has resulted in much time spent away from the felt. The great thing is now that all these things are established i can now play once again.

But i've decided that after much reading of other pros blogs i shouldn't just jump straight back into the middle level cash games but instead start from the basics. That is learning the game once again from .5/1 NL back up. Games evolve and so do players. If i was to jump straight back into it im sure i would get crushed.

This is a quick blog but pretty much updates on poker and everything else will be commented.

Furthermore looking to really set up a poker network of friends living in Melbourne would be fantastic as this always helps when starting again so send me a comment on this blog with contact details.

Anyways played my first small session 2day at 0.5/1 NL made a small win will update everyone once i install everything on this new MAC.

Welcome to Poker Curious. It sounds like you have a good plan for your comeback. The games have gotten tougher over time, so working your way back up is a good idea. I'm curious as to what your poker business is involved in. Good luck on your playing and glad to have you hear at Poker Curious.
