As most of you know, my mom was very sick at the end of 2009. She started dialysis late in 2009 and doctors said that would give her a little more time here on earth. She told the doctors she was not ready to checkout and we want a miracle. She was 78 in November and she was doing as well as could be expected.

An angel passed by her room and said, "It is time to go Dora Sherrod, mother of many, grandmother of many and a lovely lady, it is time to go."

With family all around she struggled to breath, but we did not expect her to go so soon. We were with her to the last moment. Me and my daughter Jessica watched as she took her last breath on earth at 5:15 pm on March 19, 2010. We know she is gone to heaven, because she was a great person. Always giving when she had so little of her own.

We stayed for hours to morn the shell she left behind. We told funny stories and sayings from my Mom and held her tight for a while. She is gone into the pearly gates, where I hope to join her one day.

Rest in peace Mom, I will miss you. Love Frances

In this case she did not go alone X....she had the angel that came to get her and guide her home. God Bless you and your family, for you were lucky to be with her at the end.

Rest in Peace, Dora. It was special that you could all be there. If it had to happen, you couldn't ask for a better way.
